YUTHOK NYINGTHIG ATI YOGA WITH DR. NIDA CHENAGTSANG

Ati Yoga, also known as Dzogchen, is a meditation technique to directly reveal the ultimate nature of our mind. It is most commonly translated as ‘Great Perfection’ or 'Great Completeness' since it is a practice which completely ends samsara. In the Yuthok Nyingthig cycle of spiritual teachings the chapter on Ati Yoga is called ‘The Self-Liberation of Samsara-Nirvana’. It is the secret path for realizing the final rainbow body, the expression of the complete transformation and control over the elements of matter, energy, and mind.

2016, the year of the Fire Monkey, is a most powerful spiritual year — according to Padmasambhava’s prophecy, it is the year of his emanation on this planet, a time when his energies are particularly strong and prevalent. In honor of this auspicious year, Dr. Nida is offering these rare and profound teachings for the first time in the United States.

Dr Nida Chenagtsang was born in Amdo, in Eastern Tibet, and trained in Tibetan Medicine at Lhasa Tibetan Medical University. He is Co-Founder and Medical Director of Sorig Khang International (formerly the International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine) and Co-Founder of the International Ngak-mang Institute, established to preserve and maintain the Rebkong Ngakpa yogic culture within modern Tibetan society.

Dr. Nida has published many articles and books on Sowa Rigpa (Traditional Tibetan Medicine). He has extensively researched ancient Tibetan healing methods, and has earned high acclaim in the East and West for his revival of traditional Tibetan external healing therapies.Fluent in English and known for his humorous and accessible style, Dr. Nida trains students in Sowa Rigpa and the Yuthok Nyingthig spiritual tradition in over 40 countries around the world.
