On Wednesday, August 17, at 7:00 pm, Surendra Bir Karmacharya will perform a Siddhilakshmi homa (fire ceremony) at the main havan kund on the south side of the building. Siddhilakshmi is the highest goddess of his spiritual tradition, and this puja is rarely performed outside of Nepal.

We are delighted to welcome Surendra Bir Karmacharya and his wife Dipta to Portland again. Until his recent move to Canada, Surendra Bir was the chief priest of the Vidya Peeth Agam House in Bhaktapur, Nepal.  The Agam house was established in the 11th century, and Surendra Bir's  family had performed tantric rituals there for over 1000 years. 

All are welcome to attend and experience the blessings of this ancient practice.

This event will replace our usual Wednesday evening 7:00  pm meditation program.
