Qigong with Dr. Rebecca Reese

In this series of 6 classes, Dr. Reese will teach the Liver Cleanse and Opening the Dai Mai forms from the tradition of Master Liu He of the Ling Qui International Healing Qigong School. Both are excellent practices for the spring season.

Qigong is one of the ancient Chinese health practices that integrates inwardly focused intention and attention, physical movements, breathing techniques and sound. The word Qigong (Chi Kung) is made up of two Chinese words. Qi is pronounced chee and refers to the life force or vital energy that flows through all things in the universe. The second word, Gong, pronounced gung, means accomplishment, or skill that is cultivated through steady practice. Together, Qigong (Chi Kung) means practicing healing through cultivating our awareness of ourselves as energetic beings.  It is a system practiced for personal growth, increased vitality and internal balance.

Classes are held on the following Sundays: February 28, March 6, March 27, April 3 and April 10.
